Focusing on one thread

Focus fades everything except the note you’re writing in and the notes around it, so the rest of the page doesn’t pull at your eye.

To turn it on or off:

• Open search and click the Focus switch in the row along the bottom.
• Or press Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-F.

While you edit a note, its whole top-level note stays fully visible, with everything nested inside it. Every other top-level note on the page fades. In the journal, other days fade too. Move to another note and the fade follows you.

Nothing fades while you aren’t editing a note.

Focus turns off again when you quit Mimir.
