title: "Publishing a page"
---

You can publish a selection of notes as a read-only web page that anyone
with the link can read. Publishing needs
[Cloud Sync](/sync-across-devices#turning-on-cloud-sync) to be on.

1. [Select the notes](/selecting-moving-and-deleting#selecting-multiple-notes)
   you want to publish.
2. On a Mac, right-click the selection and choose **Publish as Page**, or
choose **File → Publish as Page**. On iPhone and iPad, tap **Publish**
in the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
3. Mimir publishes the page and copies its link.

A published page is a snapshot of the notes as they were when you
published them. Later edits don't change it. Web links on the page work.
Links to your other pages don't, and text you masked with tildes stays
hidden.

Anyone with the link can read the page. See the
[privacy policy](/privacy-policy) for what that means.

## Seeing and taking down your published pages

1. Open search.
2. Click the globe icon, **Manage published pages**, in the row along the
   bottom.

The list shows every page you published, newest first. Click a page's
link to copy it. Click **Take down** to remove a page from the web. For a
few seconds after, **Restore page** brings it back. Closing the list
takes the page down straight away.
